Welcome to my homepage!
I am an Assistant Professor in Residence at the Department of Mathematics, University of Connecticut.
I work in the area of Applied Analysis. In particular, I am interested in Continued Fractions, Orthogonal Polynomials, Jacobi Matrices, Padé approximants, and their Applications. ⭐ NEW For example, we used Orthogonal polynomials to answer a question about Hamiltonians that realize Perfect Quantum State Transfer NEW ⭐, for more details see the paper
I also enjoy teaching math courses of any level and working with students.
BTW, I was a first generation college student and I made it to this stage. So can you, if you want. Just keep in mind that we are here to help and to assist you.
In my free time, I can go to a gym or I can watch a movie. I like traveling, being outdoors, and tasting food. Well, to describe myself a little bit more I would like to quote Tim Duncan here: "I enjoy jokes, smiling, and making people smile. I may be a little different, but that's OK, who wants to be normal anyway?" ☺
